Some people, if they only heard about my past, might consider me a deadbeat. I'm sure there are even those who would still consider me one even after knowing more about me. This doesn't bother me though; I am who I am, and I'm far from a bad person. Allow me to explain the whole deadbeat thing though.

I was born in March of 1982 in Spokane, WA. I grew up and lived there for 19 years, until June of 2001. This is all fine and dandy, sure. What throws most people for a loop, however, is the fact that I dropped out of high school in early 1998, during my sophomore year. Later that year, I obtained my GED and began attending a community college. This too, however, ended in me dropping out. This time, however, I had no ideas of "higher education". This time I had a nice shiny brand new job. So in late June, 2001, I finally moved away from home, down to the steaming (and I mean HOT) metropolis of Phoenix, AZ.

In many ways, I consider the move to Phoenix to be the real starting point for my life. Everything took off from there, and is still continuing onward and upward. Today, in January 2007, I'm still living in the Phoenix metro area with a continually improving and growing life. Since my move here, I have been working in the IT industry, primarily with web development but also with large amounts of system administration and some high level tech support as well. I feel that I have acheived great personal and professional growth at each of my jobs, and have also managed to help the companies I worked for improve greatly in my time on each job.

Outside of work, I enjoy a wide range of activies, as I try to keep myself as well rounded as possible. I enjoy many good books in my downtime; everything from Daniel Quinn's "Ishmael", to Dan Brown's "Da Vinci Code", to the collective works of Robert Heinlein, and those of Margaret Weiss. I also listen to a great deal of music. I have music of some form or another playing at all times; even while I'm sleeping. Of course, I do also venture away from home quite often.

Here is where the fun begins: when I head out. At times, I'll be found doing the typical mundane things... heading out for dinner, catching a movie, wandering the local mall. I'm an avid sushi lover, and as such, can be found often at my local sushi bar. I've also been known to frequent the various mountains and hills of the area for a nice long hike or climb. Along the same lines, I also visit the local rock gyms from time to time to get in some heavier climbing. In the past, I have done some martial arts training, and am not entirely averse to more training in the future. Other things I might be caught doing include gardening, working on my cars, cooking, driving aimlessly, and of course that ever important part of life... partying!
